    Mandalay sightseeing tour includes  Mahagandayon Monastery to see the daily life of the Buddhist monks, 200-year-old U Pein teak bridge, built in 1782 spanning the TaungTha Man Lake, Manhamuni Pagoda, built by King Bodawpaya in 1784. It is well known for its Buddha Image, thickly covered with layers of gold leaf, workshops of tapestries and silk weaving, Shwenandaw Kyaung <Golden Palace Monastery> a superb example of Myanmar traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, built by King Mindon in 1868, It also known as the World's Biggest Book for its 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Then drive to Mandalay Hill, 230 metres in elevation, for a panoramic view of the city and its surrounding areas at sunset.

    Visit Inwa across the Myitngeh River, Tour Highlights: Ava's city walls can still be seen and Nan Myint tower and Maha Aung Mye Bonzan Monastery. Then visit to Sagaing Hills across the Ayeyarwaddy river, and covered with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Continue to Kaung Hmu Daw, huge dome- shaped Pagoda. On the return journey, visit the silver and pottery workshops at Ywa Htaung and Oo Bo villages.

    A boat-trip on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun about 11Km (1 hour) upriver from Mandalay. Visits to Mingun Bell, claimed to be the largest ringing bell in the world; Mya TheinTan Pagoda, in memorial to the late Queen Sin Byu Me and the unfinished Mingun Temple, which could be the world's largest brick Pagoda if it was finished.

    Pyin Oo Lwin, a beautiful hill- station and popular as a summer resort. Visiting places in Pyin Oo Lwin are; Botanical Garden and Kandawgyi lake, the Candacraig Hotel of Victorian Architecture, colorful Chinese Buddhist Temple, Anisakan Waterfalls (10 km south of Pyin Oo Lwin), though not spectacular, are a pleasant place for a swim and picnic. Pyin Oo Lwin Market with stalls of all kinds of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
