    With a recently changes of her policy based on market-oriented-economy, the country and her people could make another steps towards the course of development. In order to supply the tourists' accommodation somewhat up to international standard, hotels and lodgings are mushrooming in the capital YANGON, the last King's Royal Seat of MANDALAY, the ancient archeological site of BAGAN, and the most picturesque site of LAKE INLE area.
    After becoming a member of the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (Asean) in 1997, Myanmar has become the centre of focus as a frontier in cultural and economic sectors. Myanmar is now enjoying the benefits of positive relationship in the regions as well as of her gradually booming of tourism.
    It is deniable that Myanmar is flourished in Buddhism which proved in the land of thousands Pagodas of BAGAN and the seat of last dynasty MANDALAY in addition to the fact that her rich in natural resources amongst Asia countries.
    Moreover the smiling and friendly faces of her ethnic people and their simple way of life are hardly seen elsewhere in the world. We sincerely want the world to see the real wonderful people with a genuine content and peaceful mind.
    After being isolated for many decades, Myanmar has allowed for foreign travelers to visit the once restricted areas, and held the Visit Myanmar Year in a grand scale in November 1996. After all, take nobody's words as a granted but just come and see for yourself as the saying goes - SEEING IS BELIEVING!!!
