For trekking enthusiasts, there are options of treks as vary as
easy, normal, and hard, depending on the distances to be covered.
It may take from day return trek to five-day treks into nearby
hills inhabited by Palaung or
Pa-O hill-tribes.
After breakfast, set off for trek to nearby
Palaung villages. The
whole trek will be approx. 6 hrs.

Palaung families still live together in 'long houses' and
mostly depend on the income of cultivation of thanaq-hpet <a leaf
used to wrap cheroot known to the west cigar>. Trekkers should
expect to hike for minimum 6-hour a day which approx. covers about
15km. |
